Käpylän Kiska – a Kiosk in Käpylä

Not free but almost.

An alternative but lovely kiosk in the corner of Pohjolankatu and Kullervonkatu at the end of the tram line 1 that says it serves “slow coffee, many types of tea and handmade ice cream. The quickest ones may get to buy some sweet rolls and croissants too”. I don’t think any of the cups nor the table cloths match but that is just the charm of it. People are lovely.

Today is a good day to get to know this kiosk, as their will be a gig on at about 4pm and stand up comedy on at about 7pm on the lawn next too.

Next to the kiosk is a biggish lawn and a little playground.

They are open approximately from 1.May till the Autumn. Or they may surprise -the featured image is from when we for the first by accident found it in the middle of the winter in 2011. The best way to get information about them is to like their facebook page
