Venetsialaiset, the celebration of the end of the boat and cottage season, can be enjoyed at Kahvila Kampela in Vuosaari (see my post about Vuosaari here, includes pics about the café as well), Helsinki, on 31st Aug 2013 7-10pm. Programme for kids start already at 5pm.
There will be live music, a fitness show, old fire engines from a fire museum, stand up paddle, pony riding, Andy the goat and some ball game for kids. The event is free but it may also be worthwhile checking the menu at the café that nights as they promise some specialities that are not normally on the offer.
The fireworks will be at 9.45pm, there should be dusk by then so you can imagine what the fireworks will be like to this kind of scenery:
