Cinemaissi is the annual Latin American Film Festival 16-20.10 but this year there will also be an own Latin American Film Festival for children, Cinemaissito on 28.9 in Luckan, 5.10 in Vuotalo and 13.10 in Malmitalo. The event for children will also have story telling, workshops, circus, toys made of recycled material etc.
All programme is free but you should sign up.

For and by kids – that is a good idea. I’d like to see what the kids manage to come up with.
Ooh, I love a good film festival. I especially love that they’ve got a special side-festival for kids. It would be great to see that more often! I assume (I clicked through, but my monolingualism failed me) they have shorts or features for kids. The Art Garden festival in Singapore did have some shorts for kids, too, but I haven’t really seen the concept anywhere else I can think of at the moment.
Sorry, it is rare to have links in pretty much all other languages than English… it says on their programme they have shorts for kids and even *made by* kids. That will be interesting!
The Art Garden festival sounds pretty good too, there seems to be so much going on in Singapore!
