Toddlers Painting the Fence

A good way to occupy toddlers for a while: hand them street chalks, and tell them Mum and Dad really need their fence painted – or decorated for the next guests…

Unless supervised, you may end up having it on the nearby trees and walls as well. But luckily the next rain will fix that.

(these photos are a month old but they have a nicer feel then the ones we are rugged up for today)

  2. The chalk also comes in handy for drawing circular race tracks for more active/less artistic kids. I love chalk.

  3. We use to give the boys a paint brush and they painted the fence, walls (outside) and anything else with water too- they loved it! The chalk is a great idea, much more colourful

  4. My wife suggests painting the windows with water as a toddlers activity 🙂

    1. Good idea! We haven’t painted windows with water but we have “painted” the street and garden furniture 🙂
