We explored the Tali family trail, really a nice We had a good time exploring the Tali family trail (Talin perhepolku) on a crisp Autumn morning. The track is suitable for a number of ages (prams, wheelchairs, sticks can all do it), and the whole outing was very much themed brown.
As the area is designed for activity, there are outdoor gym equipment along the trail to be used. Some brown wooden benches for abs and the rest out of metal.
Our kids liked climbing on the equipment but they were even more excited to spot the animals:
There were also a couple of playgrounds on the track, and the track was short enough for our toddlers easily to walk the whole trail. The first playground was behind a brown bear and brownish badger.
There must have been minus degrees in the night as many leaves where now showing a rich variety of browns together with the ground, tree trunks and the cones. Surprisingly pretty in the sun shine!

Vilma, since this is one of my favourite blogs, I’m letting you know I broke my feed recently by changing my URL. ExpatDadSG noticed and has managed to help me work out that if you unfollow then re-follow me it fixes the whole thing. (I assume I’m not appearing on your reader since then either.) Looks like a great trail! I love the animals. Are they made from wood? And the playground! Blackberry #1 would love it, and the location is priceless, this would be fresh air for sure…
The animals are out of wood, yes. The best part is that this place really is in the city, maybe 15min by bus from the city centre! It ia nice to discover great places in the neighbourhood.
Can’t go wrong with kids and animals!
Such a simple but good idea for an outdoors track for the whole family!
