Dump Your Old Cloths in a Name it Shop and Do Good

Did you know Name It collects all the old children’s wear that has stains and holes and can not be used anymore? They reuse the fiber in them, and for every 1kg they get they donate 0,60e to charity with children as benefactors.

Instead of throwing clothes and shoes away, next time I’ll carry the old rags with me to the shop, and I hope you’ll do too!

  3. Sounds like a good idea. Clicked through to find out how they recycled the fibres but still not sure. Sounds like an interesting process – might have to go back later to see if I can hunt down details.

    1. I had the process explained to me in the store but can’t remember it anymore. But it was convincing enough! I’ll pop in one of these days again, and let you know more.

      1. If you remember and get a chance, I’d be fascinated to know!

  4. Great idea. I also use old clothes for cleaning 🙂

  5. That’s really a cool idea! I tend to use old ruined clothes as cleaning clothes, but I would much rather do something like this.

    1. Me too, but I guess there is only so many cloths one needs… at least we go through more than we need for rags.

    1. The shop sells sustainable and ecological childrens clothes, so it fits their image.
