Paper Plates Crafts

Paper Plates, an old goodie for crafts, with a few more ideas:

Free But Fun!

Paper plates are genius when you want to do some crafts with kids. There is no limit to what you can make out of them, you pretty much always have some at home, and they are cheap.

Underneath a little display on what we have made just using disposable plates, thick colored paper, glue, finger paints (hobby paints in some) and scissors.

Some of the ideas come from the blog skapligtenkelt.se, some from a German crafts magazine Super Bastelspass, and some from the Finnish craft books Askartelun aarrearkku ja Parhaat jouluaskartelut. I have not always copied their ideas but they have worked as inspiration for us. The spider is fully and completely designed by my 2,5 yo for her granny.

  1. So creative! I love the frog and that shark! Gotta show that to my kids! Your 2.5 yo is really good with that cute spider:)

    1. You’ll get to do this kind of stuff soon again with your youngest! And I am sure the older one can make their own designs too.

      1. Haha! That’s really true.. the 2nd one is still quite childlike… he will love this craft 🙂
