How cool is that? Due to Helsinki Day there are free event and open doors all over the city TODAY, and because of that my kids and their whole daycare spend the whole morning at a fire station! Guess who had excited kids at home this morning!

I always wanted to slide down the fire station pole when I was younger. Do they have those in Helsinki? I think it was just in the movies in America probably. 🙂
Hmm, I think they do have them? But I didn’t go in, just dropped the kids off. (and now I can’t help but think Bridget Jones…)

I’m not sure exactly what’s so cool about fire stations, but I feel it, too. Must be that elusive “it” factor 🙂 .
