The puppet shows are on again with different summer stories from July 7th till August 4th always on Tuesdays at 10am and at noon. Take your own picnic blanket to sit on and you may also want to spare some time to take a look the puppet exhibition presenting puppets used during the last 30 years between all the plants. I haven’t been there yet but will try to make it one Tuesday!
We went to see the free puppet theatre in the Winter Gardens yesterday. The story was Sleeping Beauty, kids loved the rose princess, my husband thought I was a bit meh, and I found it entertaining to look at the different solutions for the requisites for the play.
After the show, we stayed to eat the food we packed along, watched the fish and plants and the rope acrobat that happened to be there too. Outside our kids did their own tricks in the tree. A nice way to spend the grey morning with friends, even though we may have enjoyed the more traditional free puppet theatre in Copenhagen more last summer!
