Yep, free flights and free hotels, might as well go… How?
Well, Finnair did answer our reclamation on the horrific flights to New Zealand by giving us a voucher for flying (when there is reason to complaint, do it well!), and due to my husbands work, we get free nights at Scandic (worth checking out various hotel royalty schemes if you use them a lot) and there just happens to be one in Gdansk.
But why Gdansk? Why not?
I think there is something appealing with the little Polish town by the Baltic that has a varied history. Also, the flight times were good (important when it’s about a long weekend) and prices suited our voucher.
I have read all the posts about Gdansk by 12monthsinwarsaw, I’m happy to see more for myself. Even if it would rain.
