We highly recommend the little zoo in Nowra, South Coast NSW, for a 1-2hr stop on a road trip with children. It was small enough but well taken care of and we got to see most of the “important” Australian wildlife there plus a few other wild animals. The entrance for a family was 78 dollars.
The highlights for our children were feeding pellets to kangaroos, sheep and llamas, hearing the dingos howl and meeting the cockatoo that says “Hello. How are you?”
