Healthy Baking

On the 1st of May we eat doughnuts and drink sima in Finland. And buy balloons and go for a picnic.

And we get the day off, so I invited my kids to bake an easy alternative of the doughnuts with me. In that one we deepfry doughnut balls in oil and then roll them in sugar. (Sounds healthy, right?) We had a great time making them!

But the oil must have been too hot so everything was still raw inside. They were unedible and went straight to the bin – and that was the heathy bit! But then the kids asked when we can make them again, because making them is much more fun than eating anyway!
