Kids Clay Art

Last Saturday afternoon I introduced our kids to white clay, which will last well enough air dried (first under plastic) as decorative items. We explored a bit how to kneed the clay and how to make thick items hollow to avoid cracking. Hope we’ll get around to paint them in about a week (and everything hasn’t cracked…)!

We had such a great time, wish I’d get around to do crafts more with our kids!

  1. I love clay crafts! And I love that this craft keeps giving – you get the time together to mold and create, and then you can go back and paint! I hope you post pictures of the finished projects!
