My hubby has taken our kids to skateparks lately, they love doing tricks on them on their scooters! Our son is into skateboarding too, so one day my daughter told me us two should get inline skates for us two. What a great idea!
We got the skates, and kids immediately got the hang of them too (but why does it seem inline skating was less rough on the feet 15 years ago when I did it last…?!). Lucky our kids have the same size feet so they can take turns with the one set of skates.
Scooters, skateboards and inline skates are not free but once the initial investment is made, these hobbies don’t require any more money and seem to provide a fun way to spend time together! Also, we bought kids skates in size 31-34 to be able to use them longer.
